Maserati revealed the Vintage personalization package at the New York Auto Show. This is actually another customization option created for the 2003 Spider. The package was developed for the North American market, but it will be available everywhere. It has different levels of personalization. The first one is centered the external elements and provides for: chromed front grill, front Maserati Trident with hand-painted red accents, chromed side fender vents and chromed door handles. To feel just right, the exterior part of the personalization package includes chromed rearview mirrors and chromed roll bars as well. This is not all. The kit includes some internal elements as well like aluminum racing pedals, central console, door trims and paddle shift levers finished in aluminum and gauge cluster finished in traditional 1950s Maserati racing light with style digit. It is clear the fact that it uses a lot of exclusive elements.

Maserati Vintage Spyder review:

The New York Auto Show marked the worldwide debut for the Maserati “Vintage” personalization package, a further customization option designed for the 2003 Spyder. The bonds with glorious Maseratis of the past is evident in the choice of exclusive elements, including the chromed side fender vents, inspired by those of the 1957 3500 GT. Taking back in time to the glorious racing days of the 1950s is also the gauges cluster finished in racing light blue with 1950 style digits.

The Vintage package, that has been created expecially for the North American market, will be available worldwide. It further enriches the offer of personalization contents of the Officine Alfieri Maserati program which allows each customer to make its own car as exclusive as possible turning it, in fact, in a unique example of a Maserati.

The Vintage package has various levels of personalization. The first one, focused on external elements, provides for:

Chromed front grill

Front Maserati Trident with hand-painted red accents

Chromed side fender vents

Chromed door handles

Wheels with special “Ball polished” treatment enhancing the mechanical characteristics while donating a brilliant effect

Silver colored brake calipers

To make the personalization of the exterior of the Spyder complete, with the Vintage package it is possible to add chromed
rearview mirrors and chromed roll bars.

The personalization kit can be further enriched by internal elements, available as individual options:

Aluminum racing pedals complete with vintage-style Maserati trident
