The 2007 Opel Corsa shows its enthusiasts a unique design that is defined by sporty and strong lines, while the newly-developed chassis ensures a safe and agile cornering. The spacious interior enhances the comfort, offering the highest levels of driving pleasure. It will be available at dealerships starting with October 2006. Its special characteristics include athletic contours, a coupe-like roofline, a muscular rear shoulder, all of them ensuring the sporty proportions of this eye-catching car model. Top driving dynamics and agility are enhanced by the optional new Electronic Stability program together with Enhanced Understeering Control. The customers are able to choose between three gasoline and two common rail turbo-diesel engines featuring four valve technology with 1.0 to 1.4-liter displacement. The Opel Corsa can become a personalized car through the panorama sunroof and heated steering wheel. Carl-Peter Forster, President, General Motors Europe, commented about Opel Corsa that substance, precision and dynamics were its main attributes, providing a sporty drive thanks to its new agile chassis. Hans Demant, Opel Managing Director, added that the Corsa was developed on some of the world's most demanding test tracks, thus ensuring perfect handling, powerful brakes as well as excellent driving dynamics. Niels Loeb, Chief Designer, Corsa Studio, also stated that the new Opel Corsa was unique both inside and out, offering its owner a lasting sense of feel-good factor. According to Alain Visser, Executive Director, European Opel Marketing, the car model is creative, unconventional and dynamic with its smart blend of fun and energy.
