Carmaker Shelby developed the SSC Aero. The model was developed in a wind tunnel and it was also tested in one. The new vehicle is powered by a V8 engine that is capable of delivering 787 horsepower at 6.600 rpm and 736 lb. ft. of torque at 5.800 rpm. With this amount of power, the engine allows the vehicle to accelerate and reach a top speed of 273 mph. It sounds like a really good job.
Built by Shelby, the SSC Aero is projected from wind tunnel testing to be capable of speeds up to 273 mph.
