Volvo C30 2008

The all-new 2008 Volvo C30 was unveiled at the 2006 Paris Motor Show and it is scheduled to hit the U.S. market as a 2008 model year, but no details concerning the pricing and volume expectations have been released. The design of the C30 is edgy, boasting broad shoulders that hint at the Volvo design hallmark, a confident stance as well as a unique frameless glass tailgate, showing plenty of muscles in a compact and sporty package. The distinctive tail lamps will make the car unmistakable on the road, while the turbocharged inline five-cylinder that delivers 218 HP and 236 Nm of torque, enhances great levels of performance. The C30 project leader Hakan Abrahamsson, stated that the car model exuded muscular maneuverability to the one behind the wheel and the wheels were pushed towards the end of the car through the 103.9 inch wheel base, while the 167 inches in length make the C30 the smallest member of Volvo's model range. responsive steering, nimble handling and sporty driving characteristics are offered by the chassis of the C30. The standard 160-watt stereo system will undoubtedly please the enthusiasts. The active safety features of the Volvo c30 include a Blind Spot Information System, which allows the driver to easily identify another vehicle in the blind spot at the rear sides of the car, followed by a Whiplash Protection System, WHIPS, and a Side Impact Protection System with side airbags and the Inflatable Curtain, IC.
