Japanese carmaker Nissan developed the NV and will introduce it at the NTEA Work Truck Show. The first model available will be the Nissan NV1500, NV2500 HD and NV3500 HD. They will be available with a choice of 4.0-liter V6 and 5.6-liter V8 engines and in two body styles, Standard roof and High roof. The models offer an amazing array of smart functionality features, including storage pockets, spaces and compartments designed to provide secure access to the typical everyday use objects of the customers. The new NV was also designed to accommodate aftermarket outfitting and modifications. The nearly vertical sidewalls maximize the usable cargo space, accommodating common aftermarket storage systems, as well as a bulkhead behind the driver. More information will be revealed soon.

Kia introduces the Sportage, the all-new urban-friendly compact SUV. It has new engines, new body shell and a bold styling that introduces the new kind of dynamic aesthetics. The Sportage models will go on sale this year and will be available with four engines: two petrol units and two diesel ranging between 115 horsepower and 163 horsepower. The power will be sent to the wheels through a manual and automatic transmission and will use a two-wheel of a four-wheel drive. It offers top-quality trim and equipment with a lot of high-tech features and also 10 exterior colors will be available. The carmaker makes a lot of efforts to ensure safety and security and deliver the highest levels of occupant protection. Kia will present in Geneva at the Motor Show the all-new Sportage. Because is longer, lower and wider than the previous generation model, the new Sportage will offer more space for people and cargo, with improved ride quality thanks to a longer wheelbase. The model comes in the UK later this year, with a range of highly competitive diesel and petrol engines. The world premiere will take place in March at the Geneva International Motor Show.

Hyundai introduced the 2010 Santa Fe. The model has revised exterior and new power-trains that send the power to the wheels through a six-speed transmission improving both the fuel economy and the performance. The carmaker offers it with a 2.4-liter DOHC Theta II inline 4-cylinder engine and with a 3.5-liter DOHC Lambda II V6 engine. In terms of safety, the model is equipped with 6 standard airbags, including side air curtain airbags. All seating positions feature three-point seatbelts and adjustable head restraints. The new Santa Fe features a standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System, which alerts drivers if one or more tires are under inflated. Also, the 2010 model is one of the most package-efficient crossovers on the market.

Tata developed the Magic Iris, a four-wheel small passenger carrier. Its spacious cabin can comfortably seat four passengers, three at the back and one in the front beside the driver. The steering and the cable shift transmission offer car-like driving ease. The water cooled diesel engine is capable of running larger distances with a top speed of around 55 km/h and yet higher engine life. The model will be commercially launched in 2010. The Magic Iris will be the ideal small passenger carrier which will upgrade both the quality of public transportation and also the income of their owners.

German carmaker unveils the new Polo at the 10th Auto Expo in New Delhi. The model will be available with a petrol and diesel variant. The petrol is equipped with a 1.2-liter engine capable of developing 75 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque. The diesel one receives power from a 1.2-liter engine capable of developing 75 horsepower and 180 Nm of torque. Both will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The interior is equipped with storage compartment in front doors for 1 liter bottles and a lot more and the exterior offers body colored bumpers with green tinted heat absorbing glass. the new Polo will establish a leadership position in its class with category defining attributes of space, style, comfort, fuel efficiency and safety.

The Tata Motors Group developed the Indica Vista Sport concept together with another 37 vehicles revealing its technological capabilities. The flared wheel arch trims and accentuated fog lamps slots exude power. The model features a start / stop function. It is finished in Alphanso Orange body color contrasted with a dark shade roof that highlights the sportiness of the car, matched with ebony black interiors and black leather seats. The Tata Indica Vista Sport concept reiterates the versatility of the Vista platform.
