2010 Kia Venga (Video)
Kia introduces the Venga at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The model will be manufactured in Europe and it will go on sale across Europe later this year. Venga will be sold exclusively in Europe where consumers will be offered a choice of two 1.4-liter and 1.6-liter gasoline and diesel engines, generating between 75 and 128 PS. The carmaker offers consumers a winning combination of style and practicality when it goes on sale across Europe at the turn of this year. Kia is confident that when customers first experience the new Kia Venga MPV they will be deeply impressed by much more than the unique specious interior. The model will be available in three trim levels from launch, offering consumers a good breadth of choice, plus a selection of individual options.

Audi developed the R8 Spyder, a high-performance sports car with lightweight cloth top. Under the hood it hides a V10 engine capable of developing 525 horsepower and exceptional performance. All the power is being sent to the wheels through a manual transmission. The output enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and to reach a top speed of 313 km/h. The elctro-hydraulic soft top opens and closes in 19 seconds, even while driving at speeds up to 50 km/h. Head and thorax side bags in the backrests protect the passengers in the event of a side impact. Full-size airbags stand at the ready in the event of a head-on collision. In a rear-end collision, the integral head restraint system reduces the risk of whiplash injuries.
Skoda will present different products and innovations at the 63rd International Motor Show in Frankfurt and the main attraction will be the new Superb Combi. For the first time, this all-new Skoda will be available with the KESSY system for starting, unlocking and locking the vehicle without using a conventional key. The engine is started and switched off by pushing a button placed on the right side of the steering wheels column. The carmaker offers three petrol units and two diesel engines. All have as base the direct fuel injection for low fuel consumption and emission values. The latest generation of the Haldex transmission will be featured in all wheel drive versions of the vehicle.

Wiesmann revealed the Roadster MF5 at the International Motor Show IAA. The model is powered by a 5.0-liter V10 BMW engine that is capable of delivering 507 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque and can reach a top speed of 310 km/h. The extendable rear wing of the roadster version plus perfectly balanced suspension set-up guarantees the necessary stability, even at top speeds. Also the engine enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. The model will be developed as a limited edition and so, only 55 units will be built. The Roadster MF5 is available from a basic price of EUR 189.000. The live production of the Wiesmann GT MF4 with 367 horsepower and a 4.8-liter engine can be followed locally at the IAA.
Hyundai developed the ix35 model and revealed it at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show. The interior lines echo the dynamic flow of the sheet metal. For improved comfort, designers have managed to carve out extra legroom and headroom. To further broaden its appeal, the ix35 will get the newest fuel-efficient engines and 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. Power-train availability will vary according to region. In addition to the new fuel-efficient engines and transmissions, the model features a number of other innovations which contribute to lower operational costs. The multi-link rear suspension was adopted not only for its superior ride and handling characteristics, but also because of its compact design which minimizes intrusion into the cabin creating extra space for passengers and cargo. The model will be built in Beijing to meet demand in China.
