The Mercedes SL received a sport program from BRABUS. The power produced by the engine had increased and now the engine delivers 730 horsepower. This is not all the tuner did. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class was modified after applying a full A.R.T. enhancement with Programm221. The S500 is powered by a 5.461 cm3 engine capable of developing 388 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. With this amount of power the model is enables to reach a top speed of 270 km/h. The new suspension lowers the basic height of the model by 35 mm. The program also includes modifications referring to a sport steering wheel with paddle shifter, combination of fine wood/leather, ergonomically shaped with perforated grip zone. The program also features A.R.T. curtain set, electrically operable, for rear window and rear doors, A.R.T. entrance sills in highly polished stainless steel with yellow illuminated A.R.T. logo, adjusting to the ambient lighting.

Kicherer specialists have developed a tuning kit for the ML 420 CDI and now the model is capable of developing extra 56 horsepower reaching 360 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque more reaching 900 Nm. This amount of power enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and to reach a top speed of 280 km/h. The incredible performance of the CDI power units tuned by Kicherer are impressive, as are the high degree of elasticity and favorable fuel consumption, which is at a standard level despite the increased power.
