KTM will introduce the X-Bow, the first car in the 50 years history of the company. KTM has managed to transfer its development principles from two wheels to a sports car in every way. The interaction between the complex aerodynamic concept and a motor sports-oriented chassis makes the X-Bow clearly superior to a far higher performance sports car. Special overalls for use with the KTM X-Bow have been developed together with the northern Italian clothing experts Dainese. These garments will take over some of the comfort functions that are usually available with a vehicle with a roof. To cover the interior of the car, the carmaker will offer a light, easy to install tarpaulin.

Koenigsegg developed a new race car called the CCGT that has as base the production version of the CC-model range. The engine is based on the CCX production engine, with no superchargers, but enlarged to 5.0-liter. The CCGT model has very short overhangs, which could be seen as an issue when it comes to generation enough down-force. Thanks to its design, the carmaker believes it had managed to create a unique package that incorporates a surprising amount of down-force combined with a very compact package and optimal weight distribution. The model has superior agility in comparison with the rest of the competitors and this might help in its racing future. The engineers managed to do a good job refining the CC into the CCGT. The engine is being developed in-house together with the production units by the engineers of Koenigsegg.

The Abarth 500 packs a 1.4-liter four with a Garret GT 1446 fixed-geometry turbocharger, delivering 180 hp (132 kw) at 5500 rpm, mated to a six-speed sequential transmission with twin-plate clutch. The car features 17-inch OZ alloys mounted to adjustable suspension in order to suit to each driver’s style. With 1080 kg, the Abarth 500 has the lowest weight set by the regulations for this category.

Maserati created the new car called Edo Maserati MC12, a model that is better than all Ferrari series considering the fact that the MC 12xx is able to develop 800 horsepower. The model features a power increase of 170 horsepower, camshafts, Titan valve spring, Titan connecting rods, oil-cooling piston pipes, exhaust manifolds, sport catalytic stainless, sport catalytic converter, sport air filter, fuel cooling system and a lot more. The Ferrari F2007 was built at Maranello, specifically to compete in the Formula 1 World Championship. The chassis of the model has been modified when compared to the 248 F1. Starting 2008, VW of America will operate a production-based GTI Cup spec racing series offering aspiring young racers an affordable entry into professional motorsports. Even if the GTI Cup racer will be optimized for track performance and safety, the heart of the street version will remain the same 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine capable of developing 200 horsepower and 207 lb. ft. of torque. All the power will be sent to the wheels through an automated manual transmission, electro-mechanical power rack-and-pinion steering system and advanced multi-link fully independent sports-tuned rear suspension.

Back in the 1930s the major races were dominated by the Auto Union Silver Arrows winning 32 of 54 races before the end of 1937. Special photo stories show the timeless beauty of the Silver Arrows with the four rings. Most of the Auto Union Grand Prix race cars which were built in Germany went mission after the Second World War. All that remained include three 12-cylinder Type D a 16-cylinder Type C and a single 16-cylinder Type C hill-climb racing car. Several lost Auto Union racing cars have been faithfully reproduced and the meantime are used for demonstrations at historic races. This unique race car now also has a place of honor in the museum mobile.

Collaborating with the technical GT head, Maurizio Nardon, some changes were made to the Ferrari 575 GTC, after competing in FIA GT for two years. The completely revised aerodynamics considerably improve internal air flow. Greater power and better handling are obtained from the totally redesigned engine, while the current torque curve guarantees improved power management.

De Tomaso developed its first road car, the Vallelunga. It was built off of the F1 technology of the carmaker and it featured a full racing suspension. Only between 50 and 58 Vallelunga coupes were built by De Tomaso and this make it a rare and collectable car.
