The first Trabant was developed 52 years ago. Until 1991, 3.051.385 units were produced. The Trabant P50 was the first type of Trabant series which was manufactured by Sachsenring. The model is a passenger car with a cubic capacity of 500 mc and 131.440 examples were produced. The most produced vehicle was the Trabant 601 with 2.8181.547 units. It entered mass production with 26 horsepower. Next it was the Trabant 1.1 powered by a VW engine. The Trabant production stopped in 1991, after more than 33 years of activity. At the 2007 IAA the new Trabant nT concept car was revealed to celebrate the 50th Trabant anniversary.
The Reva NXR, a new lithium-ion powered electric vehicle from Reva Electric Car Company was revealed at the 63rd Frankfurt International Motor Show. The model will be sent to production at the beginning of 2010. Also, the carmaker also revealed the NXG, the 2011 model. The NXR can reach a top speed of 104 km/h with a range of 160 km per charge. If using the fast 90 minutes charge, the car offers an effective range of 320 km/day. A fast charge for 15 minutes will provide a 40 km range. The NGX offers a 200 km range per charge and can reach a top speed of 130 km/h. Its European price starts at EUR23.000 plus a monthly mobility fee. Wiesmann revealed the Roadster MF5 at the International Motor Show IAA. The model is powered by a 5.0-liter V10 BMW engine that is capable of delivering 507 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque and can reach a top speed of 310 km/h. The extendable rear wing of the roadster version plus perfectly balanced suspension set-up guarantees the necessary stability, even at top speeds. Also the engine enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. The model will be developed as a limited edition and so, only 55 units will be built. The Roadster MF5 is available from a basic price of EUR 189.000. The live production of the Wiesmann GT MF4 with 367 horsepower and a 4.8-liter engine can be followed locally at the IAA.

Kamala Cars England developed the Futuro, a high-performance sports car. The exclusive and stylish new model is built to order and comes with a Ford i4 2.0-liter engine capable of speeding from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and to reach a top speed of 160 mph. The model has as base the Kamala RT, which was designed in 1997. The starting price of the Futuro is EUR27.500. Daniel Paulin, Swedish designer, has created an incredible design for Devon Motorworks. Now, the Devon GTX has a classical yet futuristic line with exquisite shapes. Devon Motorworks will introduce the Devon GTX at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours. In July 2009, Justin Bell, the leader of the racing team, will try to break the world lap record at the 1/4 Nurburgring track in Germany driving the new Devon GTX Supercar.
The Fornasari RR600 is powered by a 6.0-liter V8 engine. The interiors have been improved and so now are more comfortable and wider thanks to the solutions that increase the comfort inside. The engine is capable of developing 500 and 600 horsepower and 748 Nm of torque that enables the car to speed from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds and to reach a top speed of 280 km/h.
