General Motors developed the V7 Prototype, a custom made 1963 Chevrolet Corvette C2. The model will be auctioned at the 2012 Barret-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Palm Beach, Florida starting April 5th till the 7th. The model was re-built completely and now features a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive layout. Under the hood it features a V8 twin-turbocharged engine that is capable of developing 1.000 horsepower and 915 lb. ft. of torque. The carmaker also offered a custom built Mendeola transaxle and Master Shift paddles, a 6-piston Baer brakes with cross-drilled rotors and also an adjustable suspension. All the amount of power produced enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in almost three seconds.
