German carmaker wants more for its old regular 1973 Beetle, and this is why it decided to borrow the powerful engine from the Subaru Impreza WRX STI and transform the model into a real treat. After the modifications, the car is capable of developing 282 horsepower and this is without adding any other parts from the Impreza. Just imagine what would happen with other changes. On the inside it features retro rims and sunroof, but still we think it?s a little too expensive. The model is actually now on sale and it can be yours for EUR59.990. For the ones interested, there is one more thing, the new improved car has not air conditioning system. For this money you can get a new Impreza WRX STI and still be left with some money. Anyway everyone knows what they want and it?s good to know the carmaker offers this option as well.
