Rhys Millen Racing manufactured a Genesis Coupe powered by a 4.6-liter Tau V8 power-plant to develop the RM460 Genesis Coupe. The engine is capable of developing 500 horsepower and its design reminds us of the Ferrari 599XX which influenced the classic low profile of the car and race inspired look. The V8 engine will improve the handling of the vehicle, acceleration and braking and will enhance the already dynamic driving experience. It replaces the original back seat and maintains most of its original architecture with upgrades to eight individual throttle bodies. Also, an AEM management system has been added to maintain all factory dash and gauge cluster functions. All the output is being transferred to the wheels through a Mendeola 5-speed sequential transmission which enables the car to reach a top speed of 182 mph. the suspension will be upgraded with a KW coil over component. According to one official, the RMR RM460 Genesis Coupe showcases the rear-wheel drive platform of the vehicle as well as the performance capabilities of the powerful Tau V8 engine available on the 2009 North American Car of the Year Genesis Sedan. It will showcase HRE 560 Series 20-inch wheels, Toyo T1R tires and will also present an incredible high-performance braking system developed by StopTech. On the outside, it will have a RMR Signature Edition kit, a carbon fiber spoiler and a specially made carbon fiber rear hatch. On the inside it features Sparco Chrono sports seats, Sparco Alcantara and carbon fiber interior panels. The RMR was founded 15 years ago to fulfill a huge demand for quality aftermarket products created by the Millen Racing heritage. Currently, the company offers more than 100 products that are designed and produced in its facility or private labeled exclusively for RMR.
