2009 Mazda2 and Mazda6 Tamura Special Edition Models review and pictures

Carmaker Mazda has prepared three new Tamura Special Edition models that have as base the Mazda2 and Mazda6 hatchback cars. These models will be perfect for a broad range of customers, especially for the young ones thanks to their sporty styling and highly competitive pricing. The carmaker offers them with a choice of three-door or five-door hatchback body styles. The Mazda2 1.3 Tamura has as base the regular TS2 model and it comes with a Sports Styling Pack, new 4-cylinder headlamps and to send the power to the road, the engineers have fitted it with 16-inch dark grey alloy wheels. On the outside, the carmaker offers a choice of 4 colors and for the interior it has Tamura floor mats. Both Mazda2 Tamura models will be powered by a 1.3-liter petrol engine capable of developing 86 PS. To send the power to the wheels, the engineers have provided a 5-speed manual transmission which actually enables the car to have a fuel consumption of 54.3 mpg on the combined cycle and the CO2 emission level reaches 125 g/km. The carmaker has established a starting price of EUR10.275 for the 3dr Tamura and EUR10.775 for the 5dr Tamura. The new Mazda6 2.0-liter Tamura is capable of developing 147 PS and this output enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 10.2 seconds. The CO2 emissions reach 168 g/km. The 5dr TS model that has as base the Mazda6 comes equipped with a Sports Styling Pack, clear rear light bezels, privacy glass, and to send the power to the road it uses 18-inch alloy wheels. The Mazda6 Tamura is available in two unique mica colors. The standard equipment offered includes Dynamic Stability Control and Traction Control System, six airbags, remote central locking, electric and heated door mirrors, cruise control, trip computer with speed alarm, leather steering wheel and gear knob and a lot more. The price starts at EUR16.695.
