2009 Mercedes E-Class AMG Sport Package review and pictures
The new model developed by Mercedes-Benz, the E-Class is also available with the AMG sports package. To be more precise, this package includes sporty and dynamic features, some of which are not available individually. It includes an AMG front apron with large cooling air intakes, striking AMG side skirts and an AMG rear apron. All the six and eight-cylinder models feature twin, rectangular tailpipes of polished stainless steel integrated into the AMG rear apron. to transfer the output to the road, the engineers have offered newly designed 18-inch AMG light-alloy wheels which are painted in sterling silver covered in 245 / 40 R 18 wide-base tires at the front and 265 / 35 R 18 tires at the rear. The model features sport seats and an AMG sports steering wheel with DIRECT SELECT shift paddles. The AMG sports package impresses with a combination of sportiness and style. The front seats provide outstanding lateral support when cornering at speed. The package also includes floor mats with AMG lettering, a sports pedal cluster in brushed stainless steel with rubber studs, a black roof lining and a shift lever in nappa leather with chrome highlights. The AMG sports steering wheel provides perfect control with three spokes and a newly designed rim in nappa leather. The AMG sports package also includes the manual M transmission mode. Its price depends on the model, the design and the equipment line. The specialists have established a starting price of EUR2915 which can go up to EUR4046, including VAT. It will be available on the market once the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be revealed. Actually, it will be available on a lot of German Mercedes-Benz models and will become quite popular actually. All these are of course possible thanks to the attractive combination of features and favorable price-value ratio.
