Apparently, Bavarian carmaker BMW has decided to offer different M-Performance parts for the 3-Series Touring which will be revealed at the Essen Motor Show in December. At the event, visitors will have the possibility to take part in the Pit Stop Challenge, demonstrating their skills regarding tire changing on a DTM racing car or can even obtain a an original signature from BMW DTM drivers. The BMW M-Performance products are developed for each model individually and are being produced in close collaboration with BMW M GmbH. Racing enthusiasts will have the opportunity to learn a lot from the specialists present there which will answer all different kinds of questions.
At the Essen Motor Show that will take place this year, we will have the possibility to see for the first time the retrofit products designed for the new BMW 3-Series Touring. One of the elements is a Power Kit that will increase the output of the BMW 320d Touring. The 2.0-liter diesel engine will boots its output to 200 BHP, up from 184 BHP. To handle the extra power, the engineers have offered a BMW M Performance brake system. To transfer the output to the road, the model is equipped with 20-inch M Performance light alloy wheels.
For the interior, designers have provided BMW M Performance sports steering wheel with Race Display, stainless steel pedals, interior strips in Alcantara and a lot of other components that have carbon finish. The current product program is available at the BMW Accessories and Lifestyle Shop at very attractive prices.
Apparently racing-inspired accessories for BMW models seem to be quite popular among fans of sporty and individual automobiles. The organizers of the show expect more than 340.000 visitors this year. The 45th edition of the Essen Motor Show will start in December, so in only a few weeks.
