It seems that Chevrolet revealed the price list for its Camaro on the British market. The model is actually already on sale there. Carmaker declared that this model was actually developed especially for the European use and that its suspension was built on the Nurburgring so that it fits perfectly with the European driving style. Under the hood the new Chevrolet Camaro hides a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine capable of developing 432 PS and 569 Nm of torque at 4.600 rpm. With this amount of power, the new model developed for the British market is capable of accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in 5.2 seconds in the coupe form and it can reach a top speed of 155 mph in the convertible form.
These are the number you will get if the model which equipped with the manual transmission. In the case of the ones equipped with the automatic gearbox, the numbers are bit lower. The engine of the Camaro can only develop 405 PS and 556 Nm of torque at 4.300 rpm. In conclusion, the performance figures will also be lower. The coupe version will be capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds and the convertible one can run the same distance, but in 5.6 seconds. The suggested prices of the Chevrolet Camaro UK will start at GBP35.025 in the case of the coupe and at GBP40.025 for the convertible one. There is also a third variant, the optional 45th Anniversary package, but it will cost another GBP1.500. All prices mentioned above include VAT.
