2012 Citroen C5 review and pictures
French carmaker Citroen developed the C5 in both Saloon and Tourer variants and managed to sell it almost in the same rhythm since 2008, when it was officially launched. So far, the carmaker sold 400.000 units, but of course, requirements change and this is why the engineers have made some minor upgrades so keep the interest of the customer awake. The modifications refer both to the styling and technology.
In terms of aesthetics, the Citroen specialists offered the new rounded off dual-chevron logo, but also a lot of other elements. All the power is being transferred to the road through new 17-inch Egee rims, but that are available only on the Exclusive trim level. Of course there is more to it. The carmaker offers the Guarnaja Brown body color that makes the C5 look a lot like the DS car. Now, in terms of technology the 2012 Citroen C5 receives a new eMyWay infotainment system that provides satellite-navigation, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, but also jack socket. Available only on the Tourer model, the carmaker offers the reversing camera for the C5.
The new elements provided in terms of technology are the Techno Packs called VTR Techno Pack, VTR+ Techno Pack and Exclusive Techno Pack. These options feature some of the elements mentioned above. The ones interested in purchasing a Citroen C5, should know the price starts at GBP19.895 for the saloon version and GBP20.895 for the estate one.
