2012 Lamborghini Urus review and pictures

Italian carmaker Lamborghini did not make an official announcement regarding their new Urus Crossover SUV being ready for production, but even so, details continue to appear before the official announcement. Autocar filed a report saying that the new Lamborghini Urus Crossover SUV will have a starting price of EUR 170.000. If you think this is expensive think of it this way: actually, this 3rd model in the lineup is the cheapest one Lamborghini has to offer.
Enthusiasts and potential clients had the opportunity to see this model for the first time at the Beijing Motor Show a bit earlier this year. The reactions were mostly positive and continue to be. Different rumors suggest the carmaker is planning to sell around 3.000 units per year. If the information received is correct, the Lamborghini Urus Crossover SUV will be available as a production model in 2016. These are not the only details we have.
Apparently, the model will use the PL73 platform and it will take over the next-generation Audi Q7, VW Touareg, Porsche Cayenne, but also the production version of the current concept Bentley EXP 9 F. To obtain low weight of only 4.400 lbs, the carmaker will use only lightweight materials like aluminum and carbon fiber. Under the hood, the Lamborghini Urus Crossover SUV will hide a 4.2-liter V8 engine borrowed from Audi that will be capable of developing 600 horsepower.
