2012 HPE800 Twin Turbo McLaren MP4-12C by Hennessey review and pictures
Time has come for McLaren MP4-12C to receive some more power. The aftermarket specialists that will do that are the engineers from Hennessey Performance that will make the model be able of delivering more than 800 BHP. This is quite a lot in comparison with the standard supercar that only delivers 450 BHP. The new model is called the HPE800 Twin Turbo and it is only a concept so far. Hennessey also offers new aerodynamics, an upgraded suspension and of course, with this amount of power, bigger brakes. The kit is made of carbon fiber and it includes modified side skirts, a big rear diffuser, new front and rear apron, a new bonnet and also a small rear wing. The model runs on Mono-block wheels covered in high-performance Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The interior also receives different bespoke parts. Now, the engine that powers the MP4-12C is a 3.8-liter 90 V8 that was modified like for example, the intercooler, air intake, fuel and engine management systems and also the turbochargers were changed. The tuner offered a new transmission cooler and a different clutch system. It also features a titanium exhaust system developed by Hennessey. The price of the new model is still in the dark.
