German carmaker Mercedes-Benz developed another innovative luxury vehicle, the CLS Shooting Brake and offered several new highlights. When it comes to its proportions, the model clearly a coupe, but thanks to the roof which continues through to the rear, there are several other possibilities. The carmaker established the price for the CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY at EUR61.761 which is available to order now. Chances for the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake to become a role model for a new market segment are quite big.
One of the highlights is the design wooden luggage compartment floor which represents the talent of the designers that completed the interior by hand. The rear seat backrests can be folded down from the luggage compartment as standard. Actually, the rear seats themselves provide individual seats on the outsides and a third seat in the middle. For the ones interested, the carmaker also offers an optional folding trailer coupling. This model, the CLS Coupe is the first car to feature dynamic LED High performance headlamps.
The CLS Shooting Brake is also equipped with the innovative lighting system. These prevent traffic accidents, but if they can not be avoided, the system reduces the severity of an accident. Mercedes offers a lot of driving assistance systems like the Active Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist. The CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY is capable of developing 265 horsepower with its 6-cylinder engine and the CLS 350 BlueEFFICIENCY 306 horsepower. The CLS 500 BlueEFFICIENCY has a V8 biturbo engine that is capable of developing 408 horsepower.
The models available with all-wheel drive are the CLS 350 CDI 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY and the CLS 500 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY. The Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake will be available for purchase starting on October 6th this year for all engine variants.
