The Mercedes-Benz SLS Roadster was tested. The model had its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in 2011. Under the hood it hides a 6.3-liter V8 engine that will develop 479 lb. ft. of torque and 563 horsepower. All the output is being sent to the wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The power produced enables the car to reach a top speed of 327 km/h. The performance test run by Sport Auto revealed a 1:11.6 minutes lap time and so, the only production roadster to beat the SLS is the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder with 1:11.1 minutes. The time for the regular SLS AMG Gullwing is 1:10.8 minutes and this is what the roadster variant does.
