Aftermarket specialists from Possum Bourne Motorsport have developed a tuning package for the Subaru BRZ which is being presented at the 2012 Australian International Motor Show. Apparently, the specialists have developed three track-ready packages for the BRZ. The first kit includes Recaro motorsport seats, roll-cage kit and the engineers have also offered fuel system modifications, including lines and connectors. Next on the list we have the upscale package also revealed at the Motor Show. This one includes driveline and suspension modifications like Cusco height and damper, and adjustable coil over suspension, but also a brake package that includes AP front and rear rotors, and calipers and STI hand brake.
The list of new features continues with Recaro winged-HANS seats. To transfer the output to the road, the engineers have offered Enkei 18 x 8.0 lightweight wheels covered in Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo R motorsport tires. The third part of the tuning package includes a complete performance parts package, including engine and transmission enhancements. The prices will be different of course, depending on what the customer wants. Possum Bourne Motorsport specialists offer the new Subaru BRZ a painting / color change service, but they can also strip it too. Why would they do that? Well in case the buyer wants to reduce the weight, this is the perfect solution. This package is actually one of the most anticipated motorsport packages of the year.
The carmaker has entered the Australian Rally Championship working together with Possum Bourne Motorsport specialists. Unfortunately there is not a lot of news available on the matter and these are the details revealed so far at the 2012 Australian International Motor Show. In case something new shows up, we will be the first to let you know.
