German carmaker is planning to reveal a Golf GTI Cabriolet at the Motor Show that will take place in Geneva this year. In fact, the open-top version of the GTI has not been built since the first generation so it is about time. This will actually be the last model of the 6th generation Golf. After this, next year it will be replaced. Ever sine the concept version was revealed, there were rumors according to which, the model will be sent to production. Finally, that moment has come. It seems that the model will be equipped with a 2.0-liter TSI engine that delivers 208 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque. Because of the big output, the model is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 7.0 seconds and can reach a top speed of 240 km/h.
