Carmaker Alfa Romeo has introduced the MiTo Live model on the British market. The model has been designed to appeal the first time car buyers and apparently it will do a great job. The model will be built as a limited edition of 250 and will combine safety and technology in a very harmonious way. The model managed to achieve a 5 start Euro NCAP safety rating. It comes equipped with a high fidelity BOSE sound system which lets users connect and access different apps on their smart-phones through a 7-inch multi-touch screen. Under the hood it hides a TwinAir Turbo petrol engine that combines impressive fuel economy with low CO2 emissions. The price of the Limited Edition model was established at GBP16.590 with extras including stylish 17-inch alloy wheels and rear tinted windows. The BOSE system produces lifelike sound from nine high-performance speakers including a subwoofer mounted in a bespoke bass enclosure.
The Alfa Romeo MiTo Live has an Alfa Red special paint finish and comes with contrasting gloss black roof, wing mirrors and door handles. It has a sporty rear bumper, spoiler, carbon look dash, tinted windows and titanium grey surrounds on the lights add to the dynamic elements. Thanks to the efficiency of the drive train, the TwinAir powered MiTo qualifies for zero road tax and congestion exemption. Marmalade Insurance allows drivers to review their journeys at any time and there are e-learning modules for developing safer driving skills. The young driver that do not take high risk journeys at the end of their year with Marmalade might see their premium decrease by up to 30 % in the second year. This company offers much lower insurance premium by using black box technology to help drivers maintain and develop safer driving skills.
