2013 Audi R8 by XXX Performance review and pictures
Germany is quite often the scene of a constructive battle between some of the most famous car manufacturers in the world. Each brand tries to be a step forward than its rival. The same thing also takes place between tuning companies willing to do their best to become the best in the field. Taking an Audi R8 and adding XXX- Performance we get a nice German combination for which perfection is a must have.
XXX- Performance has recently developed a tuning package for the Audi R8. This covers the vehicle in a new painting scheme, now wearing blue CFC chrome wrapping. The car is equipped by the tuner with a wide body kit that has new elements like the roof scoop, rear diffuser, side blades and external mirrors – all of which can be covered in carbon. Some new LED headlamps and taillights modify the look of the R8. The car has been lowered pretty much with the help of a H&R coilover kit. The car rides on a set of 20 inch alloys wrapped in 235/50 front and 325/25 rear Hankook rubbers.
The Audi R8 has also received a carbon air box and the engine has suffered some changes. It is now capable of a 650 bhp (485 kW) output. The exhaust system could be heard in the entire neighbourhood if it weren’t for a valve control system to reduce the noise. Now, it remains for the car fans to appreciate the work done by the tuning company or not.
