Bentley Continental GT V8 S

The English manufacturer of luxury cars is finally presenting its last Continental version and as you may have already guessed it is the Bentley Continental GT V8 S we are talking about. As Bentley sales continued to increase and the Continental GT is accounting for over one-third of total sales, a new GT model is a natural way to follow. The GT V8 will be available as a coupe and as a convertible, too.

The Bentley Continental GT V8 S looks quite aggressive with its new front splitter, revised side sills and a rear diffuser. It is also equipped with red brake calipers and exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels, which provide a soft feeling of sportiness. The inside of the model comes up with Piano Black trim, knurled chrome accents, "S" branded sill plates and a contrasting center stripe on the roof liner.

The new Bentley Continental GT V8 S now runs from a stand start to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds and the coupe is capable to speed up the same distance with 0.2 seconds faster. All these performances are delivered by the uprated-efficiency V8 engine that outputs 521 bhp at 6000 rpm. The top speed is limited at 191 mph for the convertible and 192 mph for the coupe. Among the highlights, we can remind the superfast throttle response when sport mode is active that also held longer the gears for faster shifts. Combined to the close-ratio 8-speed column mounted paddle shift gearbox, the all wheel drive Continental GT V8 S models feature a perfect balance of luxury and sport power.
