This year in Detroit, at the 2013 edition of the North American International Auto Show, Bavarian carmaker BMW was unveiled the concept version of the 4-Series Coupe. It previews the upcoming production model and as we can all see in the photo gallery below, it features a lot of elements borrowed from the 3-Series.
The new BMW 4-Series Coupe concept features a lot of high-quality details that provide an exclusive showcase of the perfect balanced coupe proportions of the car. The materials used for the interior are perfectly combined to offer a great inside feel. Some functional elements such as air intakes and vents, door openers and exterior mirrors are given in a stylistic lift by classy satin-finish aluminum accents. The kidney grille is closed off in the interests of optimizing aerodynamics and keeping fuel consumption low. The design of the headlights adopts the link between the lights and kidney grilled familiar from the BMW 3 Series and takes it to the next level. The car boasts elegantly molded shoulders and surfaces and volumes blend harmoniously as the roof slopes down into the rear. In the end, they have obtained a sporty C-pillar design, which merges flawlessly into the sleek silhouette.
The most striking element of the rear end is the bumper, in which a clearly defined trim element in satin-finish aluminum provides a classy lower edge as the car drops down towards the road. The color and materials design of the BMW Concept 4 Series Coupe is tailored precisely to the geometry of the interior. All that you can see in the pictures below is the result of a lot of hard work coming from BMW Individual specialists. There are a lot of elements that underline the attention to detail, something that characterizes BMW.
