2013 BMW E91 330d by BBM Motorsport review and pictures
BMW branded cars are probably one of the most wanted vehicles by the tuning companies. There are an overwhelming number of tuning programs developed for BMW cars and many tuning firms are devoted to the brand. In order to face competition in the tuning segment you have to be one of the best. BBM Motorsport, a tuning company from Germany, tries to come out with new things to consolidate the position in the field. The latest project coming from BBM is the BMW E91 330d.
What is most remarkable in the tuning program developed by BBM Motorsport for the BMW E91 330d is that the vehicle benefits of an increase in power. This is how the car’s engine outputs 274 horsepower (201 kW) and 659 Newton meters (488 lb-ft) of torque, instead of the stock model’s 231 horsepower (170 kW) and 520 Nm (384 lb-ft) of torque. This is possible with the use of the BBM chip tuning system and the Supersprint exhaust system. The BMW model sits on a combination of 8×19 and 9×19 inches BBS CH-R rims wrapped in 225/35 and 225/30 rubbers.
The guys at BBM Motorsport covered the BMW E91 330d in matte red foil. Some dark elements were also added, such as some BMW emblems and the side markers. And these two, red and black, are the colours carried inside the wagon. The car features side markers, daytime running lights, a digital speed display system and a comfort eject function. This function literally ejects the car key once the “Engine off” button is activated.
