2013 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray by Vilner review and pictures
Vilner, the Bulgarian tuning company started working in the field fifteen years ago and now it is a true name in the auto industry. The company represents a concentration of powerful strength which gives each car a new pure soul. And you wouldn’t guess in a lifetime what their latest project is based on. Well, Vilner thought of bringing back to life the long forgotten classic Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.
The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray submitted to updating is powered by an upgraded 5.7-liter V8 engine, which has received some modified cylinder heads and two Edelbrock Performance carburetors. The engine is assumed to generate 300 hp, which is pretty damn cool for a car that's almost 40 years old. Although the power boost is impressive enough, this is not the best point of the tuning project developed by Vilner.
The strongest point scored in favour of Vilner’s tuning program for the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is the car’s interior. The Chevy features a two tone interior where black and white perfectly team up to offer a unique vision of the vehicle. The interior has some leather elements with brown stitching. Even the dashboard has been covered in Nappa leather. Although the vehicle still keeps a retro look, when it comes to technology it is brought up-to-date by the tuner. The vehicle is now equipped with a McIntosh sound system, updated dials with blue ambient lighting, a new steering wheel and a new gear shift. In conclusion, if you have an old Chevy that you want to bring a bit closer to the modern age, Vilner will do the perfect job.
