2013 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray price review and pictures
Chevrolet is proud to announce the price list for the 2014 Corvette Stingray in the UK market. According to the carmaker, British customers will have the opportunity to purchase one of these bad boys with GBP61.495. The model will be available across European dealerships starting the autumn of this year, apparently. The new vehicle will be fully equipped and tuned to meet the needs of customers in the highly competitive European markets. The engineers have equipped it with the Z51 performance pack as standard.
To be more precise, the pack includes enhanced aero package for optimized high-speed stability, electronic limited-slip differential, specific shocks, springs and stabilizer bars. The list continues with specific performance gear ratio, dry-sump oiling system, and differential transmission cooling. Last on the list we have to mention the large front and rear wheels and tires, 19 x 8.5 mm and 20 x 10 inch respectively, but also the large front and rear brakes with 345 mm and 338 mm respectively. This is not all. The Z51 package also includes the latest magnetic ride control suspension that is tuned for European roads, as well as performance traction management and performance exhaust system.
Thanks to the design, the technology and the engineering, the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will meet in a perfect way the demands of the consumers. The model is now capable of competing with its rivals in terms of performance, but in the same time it remains affordable. The model will receive power from a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine capable of generating 460 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque. All this output will be sent to the wheels through a 7-speed manual transmission with active rev matching. The power mentioned enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4.0 seconds and to deliver improved fuel economy. These are all the details available for now, on the matter
