Chevrolet Trax by Irmscher

For a lot of persons, the automobile represents a degree of freedom, an expression of personality and the symbol of an individual lifestyle. Sportiness, elegance, avant-gardism or refined luxury are criteria which large-scale manufacturers are ill equipped to meet. That is where Irmscher's after-market equipment and special series come in. The tuning company usually works on Opel cars, as the brand is its main partner. This time, the guys have created a new styling program for the Chevrolet Trax.

The base Chevrolet Trax had a monotone exterior. Irmscher has equipped the vehicle with chrome door handles, side steps and 19 inch Aerostar alloy wheels. Possible clients can order lowering springs (which reduce the ride height by 30mm) and a stainless steel or matte black exhaust system with round or oval tips. Inside pictures haven’t been released yet. However it is a positive thing that the tuning firm can accomplish every desire of material, colour and finish. Among the customizing options there is premium leather upholstery, stainless steel door sill plates, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and Irmscher branded floor mats.

Irmscher is now trying to develop an upgrade pack for the turbocharged 1.4-liter petrol engine. There's no information on how much it will generate, but the standard engine of the Chevrolet Trax produces 140 HP (103 kW) and 200 Nm (147 lb-ft) of torque. The Trax has a greater look now, wearing the Irmscher signature.
