Venom 700R by Hennessey

Tuning a car in a great manner needs a lot of experience and dedication. As there are lots of tuning firms on the market, they have to be competitive enough to resist. Hennessey is a tuning company which has some history background, but it is a controversial name when it comes down to the tuning packages it develops.  This doesn’t stop them from trying, though. They are now testing the 2013 Viper GTS based Venom 700R which was announced a year ago.

The Venom 700R tuning package has been created in such a way as to fit both the Viper and the Viper GTS models. The V10 8.4 liter engine has been upgraded to produce 705 bhp (526 kW) at 4,400 rpm and 695 lb-ft (941 Nm) of torque. The upgrading enables the vehicles to sprint from stand point to 60 mph (96 km/h) in only 3.1 seconds. The maximum speed a Venom can reach is 216 mph (347 km/h).

So that the figures above are possible, Hennessey included in the tuning package for the Viper high-flow cylinder heads and stainless steel long tube headers, K&N air filter, three-inch stainless steel exhaust system and high-flow catalytic converters. And if the customer orders, he can also have carbon fiber front splitter and canards, rear spoiler and wing, along with a rollbar, fire extinguisher, rear differential cooler and a Penske double adjustable coilover suspension. Some monoblock wheels and a five-point Sabelt racing harness are also available. The tuning package is pretty “open”, the client’s opinion being decisive.
