Honda Civic UK specs

Unfortunately for Honda, the manufacturer had some misfortune and did not have the chance to sell a lot of cars and we are here talking about the Civic hatchback on the European market. The reason behind all this is quite clear and it refers to the fact that the company did not have a small capacity diesel engine, which as in recently it exists. According to different specialists that had the opportunity to see it, the new diesel engine makes a very good first impression and completes the tasks it is supposed to do, which can only be a great thing. Just for comparison we have the 1.6-liter DCi engine developed by Renault which is more powerful and has more torque, as expected.

The unit took part in a competition in terms of efficiency called the MPG Marathon. This is a corporate-sponsored event that has as goal the finding of the most efficient new model found on the British market. Here we have to mention the Civic which receives power from a 1.6-liter i-DTEC diesel as a member in the competition. The Civic with its engine managed to complete the 367-mile drive with an average fuel consumption of 84.87 mpg UK. The specialists had an official figure of 78.5 mpg which has been surpassed.

The models in front are the Ford Fiesta ECOnetic and the Renault Clio on the top of the list. The CO2 emission level reaches 94 g/km and the output reaches 118 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. In the photo gallery you will be able to see what we are talking about.
