We now have fresh information on a new model developed by Kia as it was unveiled at the 2013 edition of the Chicago Auto Show. Its name is the Kia Optima Hybrid and it is actually Superman themed. This model is the 6th of 8 specially made vehicles and it represents characters fro the Justice League to benefit from the giving campaign of the DC Entertainment. An eight and final vehicle will be an amalgamation of all seven Super Heroes in one. The Justice-League-inspired Kia vehicles serve as a force to good in the world by raising awareness of the campaign mentioned above. The aim is to bring help and hope to people affected by drought and famine in the Horn of Africa. For example, Superman if a symbol of strength and integrity, making him the perfect character to join forces with the first-ever hybrid model developed by Kia. The specialists have obtained a customized ride powered by robust and efficient power train.
The new Kia Optima Hybrid has been widened with specially made fenders, offering the vehicle a very muscular appearance. It also features an adjustable suspension system that can raise and lower the vehicle with the push of a button. The color scheme on the hood represents the chest emblem that belongs to Superman and there is also a very interesting red paint design that extends to the trunk, evoking the look of his crimson cape.
For the interior, the models have custom materials for a unique appearance. The S shield is integrated into the seats and steering wheel to offer it the right heroic touch. Lately, Kia sales have grown and the Superman-themed Optima further those efforts with two video screens in the front-sea headrests. These are all the details available so far on the models.
