2013 Kia pro_cee'd review and pictures

The dynamic new Kia pro_cee’d with a stunning sports coupe styling, dynamic handling and superb standard features, has been revealed by Kia. The new model is already waiting to be ordered and the price starts from 17, 495 GBP in Great Britain.
The basic Kia pro_cee'd costs around 17, 495 GBP and comes with 16-inch alloys, automatic lights with follow-me-home, electric windows, cruise control, electrically-operated, heated and folding door mirrors, trip computer and rear parking sensors. The new model comes in two variants: the S and SE.
The SE trim has higher standards. It costs almost 19,500 GBP and benefits of a set of 17-inch wheels, stainless steel door sill plates and pedals, automatic dual-zone climate control, 7-inch touch screen satellite-navigation system, automatic rain-sensing wipers and driver/passenger power lumbar seat support.
The Kia pro_cee'd SE variant is faster than the S one, both having the same engine. The 1.6-liter GDi gasoline with 133 hp (99 kW) and 164 lb-ft (222 Nm) will do the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 9.8 seconds in the S trim while the SE variant needs 0.3s less.
We can notice the same thing in the 1.6-liter CRDi which produces 126 hp (94 kW) and 192 lb-ft (260 Nm). The diesel pro_cee'd S reaches 62 mph in 11.5 seconds while the SE is a second quicker. Both engines are connected to a 6-speed manual transmission, while the 1.6 GDi SE can be optionally fitted with a 6-speed DCT.
