When a Mercedes-Benz is modified by Brabus you expect the unexpected. This time the high performance tuning company set just slight visual and power adjustments.
In standard, Mercedes-Benz A200 CDI is equipped with a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine that provides a power of 136 HP (100 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque.
But, touched by Brabus, the A200 CDI increases its performance to 165 HP (121 kW). The 29 HP (21 kW) power increase is due to an ECU remaping.
Also a new design was given to the German hatchback. A twin dual-exhaust setup has modified the back look of the car and also the sound of the new ECU upgraded engine. For a better view and sport appeal Mercedes-Benz A200 CDI has a new set of grey twin ten-spoke alloy wheels.
Similar tuning modifications with no power update and just visual changes, including new alloys has been set by Brabus last September to the red A-Class sporting Mercedes.
