Mini Paceman John Cooper Works

Time has come to see the new 2013 Mini Paceman John Cooper Works. The model receives power from the well-know 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine capable of generating 214 horsepower and 207 lb. ft. of torque or 221 lb. ft. with over-boost. This output enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 6.9 seconds, no matter if the model uses the standard 6-speed manual or the optional 6-speed automatic gearbox, to transfer the output to the wheels. The top speed, on the other hand is different. The model equipped with the manual one can accelerate and reach a top speed of 140 mph and the one equipped with the automatic one can reach 139 mph. Because the specialists have used a sport chassis, the new 2013 Mini Paceman John Cooper Works sits 10 mm lower than the standard version. Other modifications include optimized spring and damper rates and larger anti-roll bars. When it comes to styling, the model has a more aggressive body kit and uses 18-inch alloy wheels to transfer the output to the road. 19-inch alloys are also available as an option.

For the interior, the engineers have prepared a Sport button installed on the center console that can sharpen the throttle response, stiffen up the steering and also modify the exhaust note for a little bit. There is a different story with the models equipped with the automatic transmissions as these will shorten the shift times. If you are the driver and have to drive through normal driving conditions, the all-wheel-drive system transfers 50 % of the output to the rear wheels through an electromagnetic center differential. If the conditions are very bad, all the output is being transferred to the rear axle. The carmaker plans to present the model to the public for the first time next month, during the Motor Show that will take place in Detroit. The 2013 Mini Paceman John Cooper Works will have a starting price of GBP29.535 in the UK where it will arrive in March 2013.
