Time has come for us to meet a new model developed by Opel, the fastest diesel-powered seven-seat car in the compact van segment. We are talking about the Zafira Tourer a model powered by a sate-of-the-art, sequential twin-turbo diesel technology. Under the hood, the model has a 2.0 CDTI BiTurbo engine capable of generating 195 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. This output enables the car to accelerate and reach a top speed of 218 km/h. for 100 km, the new model uses 5.6 liters of fuel and so, the new BiTurbo model is not only strong, but also very efficient managing to deliver and exceptional blend of high performance and great fuel economy.
This technology offers a high power output, an instantaneous throttle response and great pulling power from a wide torque plateau. The power produced enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds. It can accelerate from 8 km/h to 120 km/h in 8.5 seconds in 5th gear so it is also elastic. The new Opel Zafora Tourer is capable of combining premium class ambience inside the cabin with cutting-edge technologies. Some of them are unique in the segment and enhance safety and comfort.
In terms of technology, we have to mention the mechatronic FlexRide chassis system, the second-generation Opel Eye front camera, a panoramic windshield and the AFL+ adaptive forward lighting system. The flexibility of the interior is provided by the new generation Flex7 system that includes the unique lounge seating functions.
In case you are interested in owning one of these cars, know that they are now available for order. The starting price was established at EUR35.405 and first deliveries will be made this year, in April.
