Japanese carmaker Toyota has developed a new and improved Mark X sedan for the Japanese customers. The model is actually a mid-size saloon which shares the same platform with the Toyota Crown and the Lexus GS. Under the hood it hides only V6 engines and it is only available with rear- or all-wheel drive. The facelift version of the Toyota Mark X sedan now has a front end with a new design which feature different headlamps that include Bi-Xenon and LED daytime running lights.
The carmaker also offered a new grille and more obvious X logo in the center and of course, a newly improved bumper. At the rear, the new Toyota Mark X sedan features a new set of tail lamps. The exterior finish features new silver accents matches perfectly with the trims and colors available for the interior. Thanks to the expanded use of damping materials that Japanese carmaker managed to refine the chassis, this way improving handling and also managed to make the car quieter. Now, the Toyota Mark X sedan is available in Premium, S Package and F Package trims.
The carmaker also offers the G variant. This particular one was developed by Gazoo Racing, its racing partner. This new variant features a redesigned rear bumper with side air vents and a diffuser housing quad tail pipes and to send the power to the road it uses a new set of 19-inch alloys. For the interior, the carmaker offered white instrument panel gauges, black sport seats with red accents and stitching and a lot more. The G variant is available with the same 2.5-liter and 3.5-liter V6 engines capable of developing 272 horsepower and 314 horsepower respectively. To send the power to the wheels the carmaker equipped the model with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The price for the Mark X sedan starts at EUR24.400 for the models equipped with the 2.5-liter engine and at EUR42.700 got the 3.5-liter G version.
