Audi A8 facelift in Frankfurt

This year at the Frankfurt Motor Show a lot of carmakers have presented their new achievements and the Germans from Audi are in this category. Audi has developed a facelift version of the A8 which was presented at the Motor Show. Apparently, the engine lineup is now more powerful and efficient and new assistance systems and the innovative Matrix LED headlights make driving more composed than ever before. Under the hood it hides a 3.0-liter TFSI unit and the wheelbase id normal and has a curb weight of only 1.830 kg.

Moving on, we also have to mention that the B-pillar is made completely out of aluminum. There is the Audi A8 L that gains an additional 13 centimeters in both length and wheelbase. There are several elements that help reduce noise inside the model. The trunk has a maximum of 520 liters and can be loaded better in comparison to the altered layout. The optional power trunk closing assist means that the entire car can be locked at the touch of a button. The engine hood, the single-frame grille and the front bumper are more sculptured and precise.

The models made for the German market have LED headlights as standard in all models that come equipped with a V8 unit. Moving on, we also have to say that there is also optional Matrix LED technology that in fact offers new terms of technology and design. There are also several features available include the intelligent cornering light, new-look daytime running lights and dynamic turn signals. The mechanical compressor from the V6 unit can be deactivated. The engine is capable of generating 310 horsepower which enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and to reach an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. The fuel consumption can reach up to 7.8 liters per 100 km and the CO2 emission level reach 183 g/km. More details will be released soon.
