SRT Viper GTS Anodized Carbon Special Edition

Street & Racing Technology (commonly called SRT) is a high-performance automobile group within Chrysler LLC.  SRT produces vehicles for the Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep brands. The SRT Viper is, as the manufacturer claims, a consuming passion that combines classic beauty with modern technologies.  Now, the American brand has just announced plans to introduce the SRT Viper GTS Anodized Carbon Special Edition at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The SRT Viper GTS Anodized Carbon Special Edition features an exclusive metallic matte exterior paint completed by carbon fiber brake ducts, orange brake calipers and gloss black GTS badging. Carbon elements are at great search these days, so the new Viper edition can’t lack them. The supercar is equipped with a carbon fiber rear fascia, an anodized carbon fuel filler door and it it’s the road on a set of Black Vapor Chrome five-spoke alloy wheels. When reaching the inside of the car, we can find elegant Nappa leather and Alcantara upholstery, seconded by contrasting orange accents.

The SRT Viper GTS Anodized Carbon Special Edition is powered by an 8.4-liter V10 engine that generates 640 bhp (477 kW) and 600 lb-ft (814 Nm) of torque. This works together with a six-speed manual transmission which allows the model to sprint from 0-60 mph in the "low 3-second range" and to reach a maximum speed of 206 mph (331 km/h). The special edition will be limited to only 50 units. No pricing details were released. At SRT, the art of the American exotic supercar is every bit as important as its performance, and this car is for the enthusiasts who feel that way too.
