Each car manufacturer has something unique in its fleet of vehicles. But the most important thing is that day by day they try to set new standards of quality. This happens to Kia, too. And as all respectable Asian brands, Kia is one of the most innovative companies that need to surprise the future. They are continuously working on new projects and the last one has specially been developed for the U.S. We are talking about the 2014 Kia Soul Red Zone.
The 2014 Kia Soul Red Zone finds its roots in the 2012 Kia Track’ster concept. It has, however, a more aggressive look and the exterior white paint with red accents is the thing that takes it out of the ordinary. The same red accents can be found on the front grille, side skirts and both fascias. The special edition of the Soul features unique and exclusive 18 inch alloy wheels.
Stepping inside the 2014 Kia Soul Red Zone we discover black cloth seats contrasted by some red stitching, a black leather dash hood, a steering wheel covered in leather, sport pedals and floor mats wearing the same red accents. The vehicle is powered by a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter gasoline direct-injected (GDI) engine that outputs 164 bhp (122 kW) and 151 lb-ft (205 nm) and power is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Being a limited edition, the Red Zone will be manufactured in only 2,000 units. Deliveries should start in the spring of 2014. So, this is the perfect car for everyone that feels the need to be recognizable and fresh.
