We have to admit that each car manufacturer has something unique in its fleet of vehicles. But the most important thing is that day by day they try to set new standards of quality. This happens to Kia, too. And as all respectable Asian brands, Kia is one of the most innovative companies that need to surprise the future. They are continuously working on new projects and they have just introduced the 2014 Kia Soul at the 65th IAA in Frankfurt.
Although fans expected something like a rugged all-wheel drive variant of the Kia Soul, especially after some surprising renderings surfaced the web, the company is pleased with introducing just the Soul “SUV Styling Pack” at Frankfurt. The vehicle is inspired by the 2012 Kia Track’ster concept and it features piano black paint on the bumpers, wheel arches and rear skirts. This doesn’t bring in fact any benefits. It just gives the feeling of plastic body cladding.
Well, this Kia Soul SUV Styling Pack might be disappointing for the brand’s lovers. Yet, a ray of lights can be spotted for the near future as the Kia officials confirmed that the Euro-spec model will be on sale starting the early months of 2014. It will be powered by the company’s latest version of the 1.6-liter GDI petrol and CRDi diesel engines. No further details have been provided, so if you like the Kia branded vehicles you should stay tuned for more information.
