Land Rover Defender Africa Edition

Once you say Land Rover you instantly say sport utility vehicles. But the Land Rover is no ordinary SUV. It is luxurious by all means. And taking into account the origin country, Great Britain, it can’t be otherwise. The British brand has recently released a limited edition of the Land Rover Defender, called Africa Edition.

As you can easily guess after the name, the Land Rover Defender Africa Edition is inspired by the African continent. It comes to celebrate over 67 years of reaching places that no other vehicle has reached before. The Africa edition is a limited one, with only 50 units to be manufactured. The edition features Santorini black finish and black seat covers with red piping, black alloy wheels and a Bluetooth telephone connection. A snorkel, a roof rack, a rear step, bumper caps and a front protection bar will be available as optional equipment.

The Africa Edition is available for the Defender 90 and Defender 110 models. The vehicles are powered by a 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine that works linked to a 6-speed manual transmission. The 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint is done in 15.8 seconds, while the maximum speed reaches 145 km/h (90 mph). So, if you think of buying a Land Rover Defender, consider the Africa Edition.
