Carlsson is a German car tuning manufacturer specialized in Mercedes-Benz cars. The Carlsson tuning house was founded by brothers Rolf and Andreas Hartge in 1989. Carlsson's products are available for the entire current range of Mercedes-Benz models. And their last project is a tuning program for the Mercedes GLA.
Carlsson offers new elements for the Mercedes GLA. The tuner can equip the crossover with a new front spoiler and an updated grille that is, of course, wearing the Carlsson logo. Moving at the rear part of the vehicle, we can notice a new rear bumper which hosts a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system. The client can also choose from a variety of wheels varying in sizes from 18 to 20 inches. The inside of the Mercedes GLA receives aluminum door lock pins, illuminated sill plates and Carlsson-branded pedals. The tuner can also place leather and Alcantara upholstery as well as wood or carbon fiber trim. Other notable novelties include embossed headrests and illuminated floor mats.
The Mercedes GLA receives a power boost from the tuner, too. This way the GLA200 version can now generate 187 PS (138 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque while the GLA250 model can be upgraded to output 253 PS (186 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque.
