Mercedes-Benz S550 by MC Customs

Tuning cars has become a way of making money for a rather large number of persons. Combining what they like and the need for money, many auto fans have set the basis of tuning companies that are in a continuous competition and for whom survival is not enough. The desire to be in the top most famous companies gives birth to some of the most spectacular upgrading programs applied to standard vehicles. MC Customs is renowned for their transformations that turn beautifully stock rides into more astonishing exotics. And their latest project is based on the Mercedes-Benz S550.

For the tuning program involving the Mercedes Benz S550 MC Customs joined forces with the already famous tuner Wald International. The last name is responsible for the new body kit that has offered the vehicle a new appearance. The kit consists of a bespoke front grille, bigger intakes for the front bumper, enlarged side skirts, tinted taillights, restyled rear bumper with additional vents, red brake calipers and a spoiler lip. All the windows have been tined and the standard wheels were replaced with a set of Savini rims shod in low-profile rubbers.

The Mercedes-Benz S550 keeps remaining powered by the same V8 4.7-liter bi-turbo engine developing 449 bhp (335 kW) between 5,250 rpm and 5,550 rpm and a maximum torque of 516 lb-ft (699 Nm) available in the 1,800 - 3,500 rpm range. Output is delivered to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission that enables the sedan to do the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint in 4.8 seconds. Here are a few pictures with the vehicle.
