2014 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG price review and pictures
Germans from Mercedes-Benz have released new information on the 2014 S63 AMG, a model which has been launched recently. According to the carmaker, the model is capable of generating 585 horsepower and the ones interested will have the opportunity to purchase it as it will arrive in the UK market in November this year. The new model also sets new records in terms of driving dynamics, performance, refinement and technology. Under the hood, the models hides a 5.5-liter V8 bi-turbo unit that comes with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission capable of generating great performance with no effort.
As mentioned above, the new Mercedes S63 AMG is capable of generating 585 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque which enables to the car to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds and to reach an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. This output also keeps the CO2 emission levels to 237 g/km and the fuel consumption on a combined cycle to 27 mpg.
To transfer all the output to the road, the engineers have offered 19-inch AMG 10-spoke alloy wheels and also high-performance Composite Brakes fitted as standard together with unique AMG sports suspension that has as base the all new Magic Body Control. AMG body styling includes all-new front and rear bumpers, aiding cooling and adding greater visual drama and a lot more. As standard equipment, the carmaker also comes with Driving Assistance Package, Front Seat Comfort Package, Panoramic sunroof, Keyless Go Package, Ambient Lightning and a lot more. These represent more than GBP8.400 of added value for the customer. They will have the opportunity to personalize their car further via the AMG Performance Studio. For example, the Drivers Package de-restricts the top speed to 186 mpg and secures the customer a place on an AMG Power and Passion event.
