The Los Angeles Auto Show began in 1907 with ninety-nine vehicles on display at Morley’s Skating Rink. As the auto industry grew, the auto show changed and got more and more participants. Currently it is open to the public for ten days each year, at the end of November and the beginning of December, filling 760,000 square feet (71,000 m2) of exhibit space. The 2014 L.A. Auto Show confirms, up till now, 22 world debuts. One of them will be the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG.
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG will be powered by a V12 6.0-liter engine producing 630 HP (463 kW). It will transmit power through an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT seven-speed transmission and it will enable the high-performance luxury sedan to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in four seconds. The 2014 S65 AMG will return 20 mpg US (24.3 mpg UK or 11.6 liters / 100 km). The exterior of the vehicle won’t be a surprise at all, since we have already seen it staring a commercial. But all of the other details will be revealed on the 20th November at L.A.
