2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series review and pictures
When it comes to Mercedes vehicles, there are enough tuning companies that accept the challenge of upgrading the brand’s products. Such a firm is Domanig Autodesign, headquartered in Grossostheim, Germany. Its goal is to become one of Europe’s leading tuning companies. The latest project that has been developed by Domanig Autodesign is a styling program destined for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series.
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series is powered by a 6.3-liter V8 AMG engine which in the production version develops 631 HP (464 kW). However, Domanig upgraded it in such a way that it now produces an extraordinary 800 HP (588 kW). In addition, the magical vehicle is equipped with a KW suspension system featuring variant III adjustable dampers and a hydraulic lift system controllable through an iPhone app.
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series also receives two glossy black 20 inch front alloy wheels shod in Pirelli P Zero rubbers, sized 285/30 ZR20 and two 21-inch rear wheels wrapped around in 325/25 ZR21 tires. The package for the sports car comes as a gift for the SLS owners, especially that Mercedes-Benz is considering axing the SLS in a couple of months and replacing it with a smaller sports car powered by a twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter generating about 485 HP (357 kW) in the standard version and more than 500 HP (368 kW) in the Black Series one.
