In 1972 Jochen Arden laid the foundation stone for the present company Arden and in the following decades it became synonymous with elegant design paired with the most modern technology in the English luxury car segment. The company is dedicated to upgrading Jaguar, Range Rover, Bentley and MINI cars, being a true British company. The latest of their projects is an update of the MINI’s interior.
When driving a car not only the engine configuration and other engineering issues are important. The driver also has to feel comfortable and happy with the inside of its car. So Arden seems to think of the MINI owners who want more than just a regular interior. The small vehicle received some of the finest materials such as Conolly leather and Alcantara. Carbon fiber, chrome, precious wood and even a complete leather conversion are the elements that make the Arden MINI special. This offers a very unique ambiance inside the vehicle. Arden also placed a few attractive accessories and individual interior features such as extensive entertainment and audio systems, or a pedal set.
Although Arden focused on the interior, we can also notice a few exterior changes, too, on the MINI. It is distinguished by a special bi-color paint scheme, a handmade and electro polished stainless steel grille, a set of “Mini Challenge rims” sized 8 x 18 inches. These are manufactured from solid block and as a consequence they only weigh 6.9 kg. They provide the necessary traction and guarantee optimum driving characteristic. Well, with this kind of an interior any MINI driver would be proud to sit behind the steering wheel.
